Pottery in Dieulefit, a town in southeastern France, boasts a history dating back to the Middle Ages, thanks to the region's high-quality clay. In the 18th and 19th centuries, Dieulefit became known for its functional wares like jars and bowls, decorated with rustic Provencal designs.
