Antique French romantic painting - oil on canvas 33¾" x 35"

This romantic antique French painting depicts a young couple sit under a tree with their goats and a village and hills in the background. The painting style is eighteenth-century and the arched gilt frame is Louis XVI, eighteenth-century. Repairs have been made and there are some very fine holes in the canvas consistent with age and wear.
