This antique French water pitcher dates from the late nineteenth / early twentieth-century. It is half glazed as evaporation helped to keep the water inside cool. It has yellow ocher glaze that drips down the side, two handles and a spout. From south / west France.

 

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
13½" high x 10¾" x 9" diameter
34cm high x 27cm x 23cm diameter
