Antique French Pâte de verre vase - triangular - Berlingot - 8¾"

This pretty triangular pâte de verre (cast glass) vase dates from 1918-1920. The signature represents Berlingot - it is a blue-white and red candy cane mark on the bottom side of the vase. This signature was only used between 1918-1920.

A quintessentially Art Deco design - the heart-shaped foliage is evocative of ginkgo biloba. There are shades of yellow, orange and even cobalt blue.
