Antique French pale green glazed terracotta vase 6¾"

A charming antique pale green glazed terracotta pot from southwest France. This beautiful piece features a fully glazed pale green around its cylindrical exterior and charming aged crackling to the glaze. The top likely once featured a round cork to preserve food or jam.

There is a small hole underneath drilled at a later date for use as a jardinière. This would make a fabulous addition to a collection of French pottery or as a cachepot for plants and flowers. If using as a vase for fresh flowers, please place a watertight container inside first.
