Dating from the early twentieth century, this lively village scene features a horse and cart and villagers in the foreground with sun streaming through onto verdigris roofed building in the background. It is likely a town in Tours / Orléans in the Loire Valley. Oil on board with lovely original frame. Signed with the initials KPS, artist inconnu.
