This lovely Provencal terracotta olive jar was made at the end of the nineteenth century to hold olives in the French countryside. It has a flaky texture on the surface of the jar and hand pressed pattern under the lip. It would be the perfect addition to a garden space or indoors with a plant inside.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
