Antique French Montgolfier chandelier - 6 lights 36½" x 26"

This lovely Montgolfier or hot air balloon-shaped chandelier dates from the early twentieth century. It features shoulder to shoulder strands of glass beads and each of the six light bulbs sit in brass coups with scrolling acanthus leaves. The diamond shaped pendants and pendants around the crown at the top are crystal. A classic mid-size chandelier that would look wonderful in an entryway, bedroom or even bathroom (to be admired from the tub!).
