This early 19th-century French mirror exudes Louis XV style elegance with its charming "parclose" design. A parclose mirror is a type of mirror that has multiple sections of glass within the frame. These are often arranged with a larger central mirror surrounded by smaller ones, creating a windowpane effect. The small mirror is set within a richly gilded frame, featuring gracefully rounded corners and crowned with a large palmette.

Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
