Antique French jam pot - grape motifs 4¾"

A unique antique French jam pot with bright green glaze and a design including two bunches of grapes in the center. Note the sunny yellow glaze on the interior. Dating from the late nineteenth / early twentieth century, this cheery piece is a delightful way to bring the celebrated vineyards of the French countryside into your kitchen. Probably from Saint-Quentin-la-Poterie - a village known for pottery (hence the name).
