Antique French black parclose mirror 36½"x19¾"

This elaborate Napoleon III black parclose mirror with stunning arched flora and fauna cornice piece dates back to the nineteenth century. A true display of craftsmanship, note the detailed burnished brass carvings of flowers and foliage at the crown and along the sides, gracing the inner edges at all corners. The beveled glass is easy to see one's reflection and would make a stunning addition to a powder bath or entryway above a petit console table. 

Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
