An antique glazed terracotta coffee pot with a lovely brown and yellow mottled glaze dating from the end of the 19th century. Often referred to as "Swiss pots", though this example originates from Dieulefit, a village in the south of France renowned for pottery. It was heated with the fireplace, this piece is considered a fine pottery "au feu" (which roughly translates as French for "by the fire"). In wonderful condition for its age, this piece would be the perfect addition to an existing collection of pottery or to add a special touch of French to your home.
