Antique basket-shaped Majolica asparagus cradle 9¾" x 16½"

This ceramic Majolica platter is in the shape of a wicker basket with a dark green border and asparagus handles. It dates from the early twentieth century and would make a wonderful addition to a garden table setting. It is stamped 5 B underneath with a blue painted signature. It was sourced from a private collection that was held for over fifty years.
