This superb orangeade service dates from the 1950's. There are eight cups and a tilted pitcher that is evocative of a foraging bird. Glazed and painted with red, black, white and green. Signed Louis Jacques Andre Baud, Vallauris.

Louis Jacques ANDRE BAUD (1903-1986).
Baud attended the School of fine arts in Bourges (from 1920-1923.), theSchool of applied arts at the Paris industry (from 1923-1926) and received a prize in 1925 at the international exhibition of decorative arts.
In the 1940's he settled in Vallauris alongside ceramists Suzanne and Georges Ramié, Robert Picault, Roger Capron, Jean Derval.
His works have been displayed in several exhibitions including Quebec City, Sydney, London, Montreal, Budapest, Stockholm, Brussels, USA, Italy. etc.
