3 French cowbells Chamonix - 19th century

Dating from the nineteenth century, these three French cowbells were worn by dairy cows in the French Alps (the Savoy). They are made from forged iron and bronze alloy. Two have timeworn leather collars. One is branded by the blacksmith Devouassoud Chamonix 5.
