This delightful, well-loved wooden horse was salvaged from a nineteenth-century merry-go-round. Made from beechwood with the original patina. It has glass eyes. Some losses. Since photographing, an artisan has restored the horse by adding a pony tail and also mounted the horse on a support. Decorative use only.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
