19th century Provencal fruit confit bowl

This rustic brown-glazed terracotta bowl was originally used to make fruit confit (French preserved fruit). The colour and design is typically Provençal and dates to the late 19^th century. It has been beautifully repaired (most likely in the early 1900’s) with two iron pieces.
