19th-century preserving pot w/ green glaze 14½"

This large preserving pot dates from the mid-nineteenth century and is from the Languedoc region of France. It was originally used for preserving thing such as olives, oil and pickles. It is glazed with dark green to the top half and inside, and there are two small handles.
