19th-century pair of large Medici urns - cast iron 24½"

Dating from the nineteenth century, a large pair of beautifully painted and decorated Napoleon III Medici urns. These painted cast iron pieces feature a pretty white-and-yellow exterior patina with molded decoration of cartouches and grapes. The interior and base pediment feature a charming seafoam green patina. This pair would make magnificent, symmetrical vases for floral arrangements welcoming guests at the entrance of an event, or with spotlights on them in a garden setting.
