Dating from the nineteenth century, a chic, gadrooned and repoussé brass Napoleon III jardiniere from a private collection in the south of France. Decorated with lions head masks holding round drop handles at either ends and resting on four lion paw-style feet.
A classic piece for an entry table or console. When using as a cachepot for potted plants or a floral arrangement, it is recommended that a liner be used as a precautionary watertight measure. Note photos for character marks and minor dents.
