An overwhelmingly charming nineteenth-century two-door confiture from the mountainous alpine Haute Savoy region of France. Note the pretty wooden latch closes which rotate to allow the cabinet doors to open freely. Each cabinet opens to reveal a single, fixed shelf inside. Note how the lower cabinet shelf features the natural curved grain of the wood.
Once used as a storage piece for jams, this piece will immediately infuse a cozy, rustic French country Alpine feel in any space it enters. It is a lovely artisan piece that will serve practically for in a kitchen as a pantry or additional storage piece. This style of country mountain furniture is also known as "Folk art" or "Art populaire" furniture in French.
