19th century green & yellow Castelnaudary planter w/ 4 handles 20½"

This timeworn Castelnaudary garden planter dates from the nineteenth-century. Terracotta with classic green and ocher glaze and four handles for lifting. Originally planted with citrus, that had to be bought into the Orangerie over winter (hence the handles).
