A large French bookcase dating from the nineteenth century. The lovely mountain pine vitrine features two original antique glass windows as the upper doors and two doors in solid wood forming the lower cabinet beneath. The interior of the upper portion features three removable shelves, and there is an additional shelf included for a total of four possible shelves in the upper portion. The lower portion cabinets open to reveal a single, removable shelf.
The overall rustic, light beige-yellow painted finish reveals much of the natural mountain pine beneath. The base of the bookcase features a faded back painted border. This vitrine is one solid piece. A fabulous bookcase that will impart a touch of French country charm to any space it enters. Keys are included and function. Notes on shelf heights: the clearance of the lowest area before the first shelf starts is 29cm. Above this shelf the average clearance is between 20-25cm where notches are located.
