19th century French counter with two shelves

This striking French counter dates to the mid-19^th century. Made from pine it is in very good condition with some light wear. The base is narrower than the top making it a good work bench. This would make a beautiful kitchen island as it is attractive from all sides. It was originally most likely used in a small French hardware store.
