19th century French bed warmer – green glazed

This green glazed chauffe lit dates to the 19^th century. Hot embers were put inside the container and smoke passed through the pretty holes in the top. The pot was run over the bed to warm the bed. There is a small lid and handle. This would make a pretty vase with flowers displayed through the holes.
