A handsome, Empire mahogany two-drawer desk dating from the nineteenth century with original bronze decorations. This desk was designed in the style of Reissner, a celebrated ébéniste during the late eighteenth century. Note the rectangular top features a dark green leather outlined with a creamy yellow velvet trim. The sides have pretty bronze decorations as well. The drawer locks with keys included. Note the photos to observe mark to leather on top.
