19th-century domestic interior painting - French 25½" x 22½"

A very Provençal oil-on-canvas, preserved in its original gilded frame from the nineteenth century, France. This domestic interior includes classic Provençal furniture and décor including a buffet, likely walnut, decorated on top with a green glass demijohn and yellow 'conscience' jug. 

Note the lovely framed paintings scattered around the buffet and the masterful displays of light and shadows throughout the piece.
