The price is all-inclusive, no duties, taxes or shipping.
A nineteenth-century daubière for casseroles with iron handles fixed by copper rivets. The recessed lid allows for cold water or ice to keep food moist while cooking. The copper joints form a zigzag pattern around the bottom. The tin interior is worn and would benefit from re-tinning for ongoing cooking use. A rare and wonderful piece to add to a collection of culinary antiques.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
