19th-century Chinese leather coffer 7"

Dating from the nineteenth century, a stunning leather coffer of Chinese origin. Note the beautiful motifs on the outside of the box and stitched details as seen in photos. The outer leather is black while the interior is a warm brown tone. There are brass drop handles on either side and a lovely rounded brass lock plate in typical Chinese style.
