Full of charm, this large red French butcher's table dates from the 1930s and features lovely baroque-style carvings. Note the diamond motifs on the sides, and the beautiful carved details to the apron and four fluted legs. The thick chopping block top is likely beechwood. The single drawer features a wood handle.

This lovely table features a red-painted patina to the shapely back and base. Red was a frequent color used in advertising by French butcher shops to allude to the red color of the meat. A delightful way to decorate your kitchen or restaurant décor with a piece of French butcher shop history!
