18th century walnut commode / bahut from Provence - Louis XV - 55½" x 24"

This exceptional Louis XV walnut buffet dates from the eighteenth century and is from Provence (identifiable by the floral carvings). It is slightly higher than a sideboard, hence the name 'bahut'. Note the beautiful scrolled cabriole feet. This is a skillfully made piece that will be the focal point of any room. There are signs of woodworm that have been treated. Ongoing treatment may be required with an appropriate product.
