This pretty oval hand-painted glazed earthenware jardiniere planter dates from the eighteenth century and comes from a private collection in the south of France. Observe the delicate hand-painted flowers decorating the piece.
The outside is decorated with garlands of sweet, petit flowers with dainty bows. The interior decoration features large tulip and rose blossoms at the center. A lovely, colorful cachepot to create a centerpiece on a table and add a touch of French charm to your daily life. Signed "P" in blue paint underneath.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
