18th century Pier mirror with beige frame 41" x 21¾"

This beautiful rectangular overmantel French antique mirror dates to the 18th century. The simple timber frame retains the original patina, and the mirror is mercury glass. This mirror has two panes, and its frame is made of fir wood. To note, the wood is not completely straight due to age and wear.

Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
