The blue motifs decorate the sides and interior with floral and scrolling foliage accents. the side handle feature a blue ticking stripe. The piece has petit tripod feet to lift up the cachepot.

On one side and underneath, note the eighteenth-century staple repairs lining a small visible fissure which is solid. Minor chips to glaze consistent with age and use. One of the two handles has broken off but does not affect the overall use or beauty of the piece, it is eighteenth-century after all. This would look wonderful filled with a grouping of delicate maidenhair ferns sweeping over the sides.
