Dating from the eighteenth century, a beautiful glazed earthenware plate likely from Normandy. The vibrant blue color is described in Provence as "Camargue blue". The hand-painted and deeply saturated blue decorations infuse elements of nature with playful, brushstrokes. Due to its deeper-than-usual sides, this plate could be used as a shallow bowl to hold fruits or citrus. A piece that can easily make you smile and suit well in both classic and modern interiors.
