This English 18th-century octagonal mirror features a painted wooden frame with remnants of its original finish in soft beige, cream, and faded green tones. The frame is adorned with delicately carved floral medallions placed along the edges and corners, enhancing its romantic and timeworn appeal. The original mirror glass has aged gracefully, showing scattered foxing while still remaining clear and functional.

The distressed paint and subtle floral motifs soften its geometric form, making it a versatile decorative element in both classic and eclectic interiors. Reinforced with newly restored flooring wood, the frame retains its authentic patina while ensuring durability.

Ideal for a country house or adding character to a modern space, this mirror brings a touch of historic elegance. Whether placed in a bathroom, hallway, or above a fireplace, its muted tones and aged texture complement both neutral and richly decorated palettes.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.

Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
