12th-century baptismal font with religious ornamentation 17¼"

This rare stone baptismal font dates from the twelfth century. Carved from stone from Aveyron, the same stone that was used to build the historic church in Conques. There is a drainage hole in one corner. The front is decorated with overlapping pointed vaults and religious motifs.
